Business Description
Established in 1985, China Real Estate Association (CREA) is a nationwide nonprofit professional organization constituted by enterprises and institutions engaged in real estate development and operation, market transaction, circulation service, investment and financing, legal consulting, construction and decoration, etc., as well as local real estate associations, relevant academies and individuals. CREA is registered with the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Construction, PRC, with the Ministry of Civil Affairs, PRC as its business governing body. CREA is headquartered in Beijing. CREA conducts policy research and special studies on hot issues in the industry, holds regular nationwide forums on housing development, organizes various economic exchanges and workshops, presents policy and legislation proposals for industrial development to the government; regularly releases related industrial information, reflects the members’ requirements, safeguards the members’ lawful rights and interests, promotes the development of the industry, and improves the overall quality of the industry. CREA organizes the “Guangsha Prize” and Credit Rating award for its members. As a member of FIABCI, CREA ensures friendly relations with real estate professionals and public sector authorities in foreign countries as well as in China Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
