Constitution of the International Federation of Property Managers on 2nd June
Second International Congress of the Federation.
New Federation obtained consultative status
On the 21st July, the new Federation obtained consultative status to the United
Nations Economic and Social Council.
The name FIABCI is adopted
The name « Fédération Internationale des Administrateurs de Biens Conseils et Immobiliers », FIABCI is adopted at the International Congress in Vienna.

FIABCI gets renamed
The decision was made at the Tel-Aviv World Congress to rename the Federation the International Real Estate Federation. This existing acronym FIABCI, however, already recognized worldwide, was kept.

International Prix d’Excellence Awards are launched
FIABCI launches the international Prix d’Excellence Awards to recognize projects that best embody excellence in all real estate disciplines involved in its creation.

FIABCI celebrates its 50th anniversary at World Congress in Sevilla, Spain.
