Michael von Hauff is the founder of Treubau Verwaltung GmbH in Mannheim, Germany. The company was initially established in 1973 and became one of the largest family-owned property management companies in Germany with 22 branch affiliations. During his tenure Michael von Hauff has conducted more than 2,500 condominium owners’ meetings. He sold Treubau Verwaltung GmbH in 2013. In order to pass on his vast knowledge. Michael von Hauff now offers specialized consultation about the condominium management process with his company BIM – Beratung für Immobilien Management. Michael von Hauff has been teaching at several academies and colleges and he has published a number of articles in professional journals. He is also one of the authors and the editor of the compendium “Das große Verwalterhandbuch”. He has been lecturing on a variety of topics both nationally and internationally. Recently he became a senator in the Federal Association for Economic Development and Foreign Trade (BWA). And for years he has been very active in several professional associations, including FIABCI. Since 1991, he has participated in most FIABCI World and European Congresses and he was the president of the Exchange Committee for seven years. He currently serves as President of the FIABCI World Council of Managers and is an elected member of the Regional Board.
